As a kid Chris was influenced by comic books (Frank Frazetta being my biggest influence) and horror movies (watching Monstervision, Universal, 80s horror movies). At the age of 10, Chris started making his own costumes and masks out of paper mache. At the age of 19, Chris started working at a local haunts and eventually worked his way up to being a makeup artist and prop maker for haunts.
