Rue (Ruta graveolens) is a perennial evergreen shrub. The stem is erect, branched, and woody at the base, 50-70 cm high. The flowers are small, yellow, collected in inflorescences - brushes. Leaves are alternate, elongated-ovate, twice or thrice-perisected, short-leaved, fleshy, bluish-green. It blooms in June - August. The fruit is a spherical four-nest box. Seeds are brown, small, 1-1.5 mm long.
