Overview:
A superb example of mid-century Mexican "Silver Renaissance" jewelry, this panel link bracelet features six hand-carved green onyx masks, often referred to as "Mexican Jade." The masks represent pre-Columbian warrior motifs and are set in substantial sterling silver frames.
Design & Craftsmanship:
• Motif: Hand-carved green stone (Onyx/Chrysoprase) masks with detailed headdresses.
• Artistry: Each panel is accented by a decorative "beaded" or "granulated" silver border, a labor-intensive technique characteristic of high-quality Taxco-era workshops.
• Construction: Heavy gauge silver panels connected by sturdy integrated hinges.
Hallmarks & Dating:
• Markings: Stamped with the early stylized cursive "Mexico" over "STERLING" in block letters.
• Period: Circa early 1940s. The absence of an "Eagle" assay mark or alphanumeric code

Specifications:
• Metal: Solid Sterling Silver (.925)
• Stone: Translucent Green Onyx
• Weight: 51.0 Grams (Substantial/Heavyweight)
• Closure: Origina
