Heavy Duty Linear Actuator 12" Inch Stroke 330 Pound Max Lift DC 12v/24v

A heavy duty actuator with a stroke length of 12". This uses a power supply of 12v-24 and will operate faster with a 24v supply. It will extend or retract 0.315 in/s (8mm/s) at 12v and 0.670 in/s (17mm/s) at 24v. The maximum load (push or pull) is 330 lbs (1500N). This unit has built-in limits switches to cut power automatically at the end of travel. This can be used in harsh environments as it is IP54 rated (weather resistant). This actuator has a position feedback mechanism based on pulses from a hall effect switch. When read by a microcontroller, each pulse represents 0.007046 inches (0.17896mm) or travel. Use of this sensor is completely optional and can be left disconnected. The mounting brackets and pin are included. The wire leads are 3 feet long (1 meter) and have exposed, tinned ends. When positive supply voltage is connect to the Red and Black leads, the actuator will extend. To use the hall position sensor, connect Green to ground, White to supply (5v), and Yellow to a 10k pull-up resistor. The pulse output can be read from the yellow lead
