The Herd Boss is a unique 6-tooth tungsten carbide coated chain disc designed exclusively for high volume cow hoof trimming. Unlike traditional rotary blades, the Herd Boss is designed to make trimming pain-free and easy. Using a smooth gliding motion to remove hoof material, the Herd Boss gets a cleaner trim. Cutting on its side instead of its face, the Herd Boss does not require a chopping motion to remove hoof material, so it reduces the usual strain on your hands, wrists, shoulders, and back. The Herd Boss comes with a diamond-coated file. So you never have to send it back for sharpening and can trim thousands of cows before needing a replacement chain.

- This disc measures 3.5” (89mm) in diameter and consists of a six-tooth tungsten carbide chain that sits between two discs. Herd Boss has a 7/8” (22mm) center hole designed to fit most 4.5” (115mm) angle grinders worldwide.
