Product Description The Hillman Group Wedge anchor is a torque-controlled expansion anchor and is an excellent choice when anchoring into solid concrete. This type of concrete anchor is designed for use in concrete only and should never be used in block or brick base material. Once installed, these wedge anchors cannot be removed without destroying the concrete. Tools required: 3/8” carbide tipped drill bit, hammer drill, 9/16” wrench; Maximum thickness of the fixture or material being fastened is 1-3/4"; Minimum embedment into the concrete is 1-5/8”; Threaded portion of the anchor is 2-3/8” in length; The required installation torque of the anchor is 20 ft./lbs. From the Manufacturer The Power-Stud is a torque controlled, wedge expansion anchor that is designed for concrete applications. Has various DOT approvals including Cal Trans listing for "Stud Mechanical Expansion Anchors". It is building code approved, and can also be used with treated lumber.
