Weldless Kettle/Keg Convert Kit w/ 6" Bazooka ScreenThis bazooka kit comes with the option of a 6" bazookascreen with a diameter of an inch. It is made from high grade 304 stainless steel construction thus it is not only durable but also rust-proof. The bazooka tube screen is an ideal hop strainer in boil kettles that have diameters longer than 6inches. It can be used to convert a simple brew kettle into a mash tun so that you can extend its use during the lautering and sparging process. It can also be used to filter the wort in a counter flow chiller.The mesh is made by weaving 16 small stainless steel wires every inch to create a 0.45mm2 area for each individual square. This effectively strains the wort from sediments and pellets. To avoid clogging the mesh, using whole hops is recommended. The bazooka screen is attached to the back of a bulkhead through the male NPT thread.
