Mash Tun(MT) Conversion Kit- Hose BarbStyleThe mash tun is where you add the grain to the strike water, on a HERMS system you will recirculate the mash through the HLT to maintain temp. At the end of the mash you'll sparge with clean water from the HLT to ensure you get all the sugar from the grain.The brew kettle/pot in the picture is virtual and only shows how to use it. You need to buy a brew kettle/pot separately.In this conversion kit, it include the follwoing three parts:1. Recirc/Sparge PortUsed to recirculate wort to keep even temperature and increase efficency during mash. Used to rinse wort during sparge.2. Drain Port.Our unique pickup tube to drain wort off kettle bottom.3. Temperature Port.To moniter the temperature of the wort.You also need a False Bottom for the Mash Tun. We accept custom size False Bottom.
