It is said that the ancient Greeks believed that the island was closed by ice and snow that never sinks the sun, was the end of the world. The majority of the great designer Tapio Vircara careers piled in Iittala and is a versatile artist who has created nearly 400 pieces in his relationship with Iittala for over 40 years.
