Recognizing the differences between male and female divers, we offer the IST J-1300 Artemis Women’s Jacket Style BCD with Weight Pockets. Named after the goddess of the hunt and the natural world, this beautiful and functional BCD is engineered with the serious female diver in mind. Its adjustment features, sizing and special cutting afford superior comfort and support for women when compared to a unisex BCD. Personal harness system for a custom fit offers shoulder-width adjustment to account for smaller female frames. Extra padding around the hip and waist region and an extra thick back pad for support and comfort. Our specially designed Angled Advanced Ballast Removal weight pockets with quick-release buckles can hold up to 4Kg (8.8 lb.) each, and are positioned to be more easily accessible to female divers. The durable 840D Nylon shell encases a vest-style buoyancy system for comfort, quick deflation, and maximum stability at the surface. Most female divers will find the size of the J-1300’s power inflator is a better fit for their hands, compared to a standard inflator. Adjustable sternum strap helps to avoid chest squeeze when the vest is inflated, while the adjustable cummerbund and harness allow a custom fit. Large, easy-access cargo side pockets are roomy enough to hold your essential safety and redundancy gear. 2 rear quick air dump valves for fine-tuning buoyancy. 2 strategically placed rear trim pockets hold up to 1kg (2.2 lb.) of additional weight each. Multiple attachment points are provided by the 3 stainless steel and 2 Delrin D-rings. CE approved.
