Vintage Jeannette Glass, "Holiday", also known as "Buttons and Bows" Depression Glass Platter, Iridescent, Circa 1947-1949, Mint Condition. This "Holiday" pattern is a very intricate geometric design that flows nicely in spite of the straight lines and acute angles. This pattern, also known as "Buttons and Bows, was made by the Jeannette Glass Company in Jeannette, Pennsylvania from 1947 - 1949. Although this piece is a gold iridescent color, pink is the most commonly found and collected color in this pattern. The platter measures 11 1/2" long by 8" wide and sits 1" high. Excellent vintage condition! No chips or cracks.
