Kimax flask with an autoclavable plastic sidearm, designed to accept 5/16 inch I.D. flexible tubing (U.S. Patent 3,268,300). Sidearm has two ears to provide a finger grip for easy insertion into a neoprene grommet by turning the plastic piece. Sidearm is bent to reduce the tendency of the rubber hose to overturn the empty flask. Opening in the sidearm is larger at the flask end to hold a cotton plug securely. All flasks have durable white ceramic enamel scales to indicate approximate volumes at various levels. Designed from ASTM Specification E1406, Type III, Class 2 requirements.
