UNIMOLY C 220 is a specialized grey bonded coating spray designed for demanding industrial applications. This MoS2-based (molybdenum disulfide) coating features an inorganic binding agent and comes in a convenient 400ml spray can. Once applied and cured at room temperature, it creates a highly pressure-resistant coating that performs exceptionally well across an impressive temperature range from -180°F to 450°F. The coating demonstrates superior adhesion properties on special steel, metal, and electroplated surfaces, making it particularly valuable for high-vacuum applications. Its unique formulation helps prevent stick-slip, improves running-in processes, and serves as an excellent assembly aid. The coating is especially effective for materials prone to cold welding, such as special steel nuts and bolts. With a density of approximately 1.08 g/cm3, this versatile coating can cover roughly 10 square meters per liter when applied at a 10 μm thickness.
