I occasionally brushed it and removed dust.

I find peeling fruit troublesome, so I just bite into fruits that seem edible without peeling them. I wash kiwis thoroughly and eat them whole. If you discard the common sense of having to peel, there are quite a few fruits you can eat directly. It's all about willpower.
