LapidaryCentral's Kaleidoscope Jasper Slab

Psychedelic Kaleidoscope, a variant of Floating Orb Kaleidoscope, boasts an abundance of organic material, resulting in vibrant, wild patterns and colors. Despite numerous partially healed fractures, its beauty is too striking to discard, making it an excellent display piece with proper care. Discovered in Oregon during the winter of 2007/2008, this deposit is one of the northwest's most significant, offering a vast array of colors, patterns, and gem-quality jasper and agate. Primarily a Bog Wood formation, it often contains wood debris and other organic materials, with over a dozen varieties unearthed each year. Initially operated by my father, Dale Rhode, I've since taken over and continue to revive the mine following his passing in 2021.
