Large Red Mahogany Obsidian Crystal Tower Obelisk Natural Coffee Polished Point

Beautifully colored, large tower of fully natural red Mahogany Obsidian from Mexico. This collector’s grade display piece is made of 100% mahogany obsidian with no filler minerals. Mahogany Obsidian, also known as mountain of coffee mahogany, is a natural glass obsidian with iron inclusions that create the mahogany / brick red colored stripes and swirls patterning. The gemstone tower has been polished to a glassy shine that shows off the unique colors and banding in hues of copper, deep red, chocolate-red and black. The self standing specimen has a terminated top point then a an oft taper down width through the tower body. Measures approx 9.5cm tall, 5cm diameter at the base, and weighs almost half a pound at 7 ounces.
