The CIL LED, a custom Undercarriage Cart Inspection Light, was designed for NASA's aircraft at Ellington Field, Texas. Primarily used for astronaut training and various aircraft maintenance, the field houses diverse NASA aircraft. The original lighting solutions were insufficient, prompting XtraLight to develop the CIL LED. This mobile, durable, and energy-efficient light source enhances visibility, enabling thorough undercarriage inspections and accurate repairs. It has been well-received and is actively used for equipment servicing and aircraft repair.
