Product Details:
This model is a reproduction of the 501ZXX (501 zipper version) from the late 1950s to the early 1960s, and is Levi's Japan's first vintage reproduction (replica). The pocket lining is labeled "For over 140 Years."
This 502 reproduction was released around 1987 and underwent a model change in 1991.
They are called the early version and the late version, with the late version being more valuable.
Both are made in Japan, but the late version uses reproduction denim from Cone Mills, which is considered to be the reason for its higher value.
There are two points to distinguish them.
The late version has "67502" on the inner tag. Also, the selvedge width is narrower and it is twill weave. The tag also only says 502, without the "XX". This product is the late version.
