PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) liners are a type of lining used in various industrial applications. They are made from a type of plastic known for its chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance, and low friction properties. The inner vessel of a hydrothermal autoclave made up of polypropiolactone (PPL) is known as PPL Liner. It is mainly used to replace Teflon liner in case of high-temperature reactions. It is black in color. It is a chemically inert substance.
