The Abbey Chain Wear Plate addresses these issues, accurately measuring both linear and lateral wear. It locates the roller's center, preventing roller size and wear from affecting measurements. To check lateral wear, simply hold the chain vertically and observe sag. This tool's accuracy is enhanced by CNC machining from a billet, ensuring tight tolerances as low as .0002".
