This is a camera from the time when LOMO was still the Soviet LOMO (before it became Lomography).
I purchased it at an auction a long time ago and have stored it in a dark place.
The body says SMENA, so I thought it was the original SMENA, but looking at the parts, it seems to be a SMENA 3.
I suspect that the "3" was perhaps filled in and repainted, or that only the parts from a 3 were used.
It might even be a rare item.
However, the truth is shrouded in darkness, darker than the inside of a dark box.
The aperture and shutter speed can be set, and the lens can be moved to adjust for the distance to the subject.
I haven't taken any photos with this camera, but the shutter seems to be working according to the speed. I'm not sure if it's accurate.
