Madame Alexander dolls are a generic term for the hard plastic interchangeable dolls made by the American company Alexander Doll Company, all of which are handmade and known for their high level of craftsmanship and quality. The eyes can be closed using the sleep eye gimmick.
Sometimes referred to as Madame Alexandra.

After purchase, it was stored in a closet in its case.

This is the Anna McGuffey 1525 from Alexander Doll Company.
It is default for the doll to be originally fastened in a paper box with a ribbon and wrapped in Hatron paper.
The box may show signs of discoloration and stains due to aging.
As it is an unused item, detailed inspection of the contents has not been done.
