The Myst Y10LIR spectacles possess a high 80% Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) ratio and are well suited for indoor work applications while filtering out 99.9% of harmful UV rays present. Although the IR protection provided by the Y10LIR lens is equivalent to a Shade 1.3 welding lens, the Y10LIR glasses' low IR lenses do not meet the Shade requirements of Table I of ANSI Z87.1 2010 and should not be used for any type of direct welding application. Weighing only 1 oz., the Gemstone Myst Y10LIR glasses are light in weight and low in cost while supplying excellent all-around impact protection in a sleek and compact style.
