Manual for Bubble Bobble on Gameboy by Nintendo

Bubble Bobble is a side-scrolling platform game where each level unfolds on a single screen. To progress, players must clear all enemies from a level. Controlling either Bub or Bob, players can leap, gather items for points (like fruit), and harness the true power of bubble-blowing. Bubbles serve as platforms or traps for enemies, which must be popped by jumping into them to turn them into fruit. Occasionally, power-ups like lightning or water float by in bubbles, adding a dynamic twist to gameplay. Inactivity in a level summons Baron Von Blubba, who roams the screen seeking to eliminate players.
