This Martin roller chain sprocket has a 5/8-inch pitch, fits size 50 chains, and is double strand with two sets of teeth side by side around the circumference for use with double strand chains, which have a higher tensile strength and can support greater loads than single strand chains. It is a Type A sprocket with a bore and no protruding hub on either side, and the bore has tapering grooves for inserting and locking into place a taper bushing that fits the diameter of the shaft.
