The flexible magnet strip is magnetic on one side and black vinyl coating on the reverse, and can be attached and easily repositioned on flat or slightly curved steel surfaces. The vinyl side can be written on directly with a wet-erase or permanent marker, or a pre-printed adhesive paper label can be attached. Strength rating is 21 pounds of pull per linear foot. The strip withstands temperatures from -15 to 160 degrees F and can be cut with scissors.Flexible magnets can be easily cut and shaped for a range of applications. They are produced by mixing powdered iron or ferrite with a rubber or plastic binder, and then extruding or rolling into the desired shape. Flexible magnets can have adhesive backing and be laminated with a printable vinyl coating.
