Despite the Fw 190's introduction in 1941, Bf 109 production surged until the war's end, making it the most numerous Luftwaffe fighter. By war's end, Germany had produced over 30,000 Bf 109s. Post-war, production continued in Czechoslovakia until 1949 and in Spain until 1958. Today, it stands as history's most produced fighter.
