Our RollCheck MINI employs proven laser projection technology for maximum angular resolution, ensuring the most reliable and accurate visual readings. It can measure up to 4 ka (1200 m) from a roll to accommodate sizes up to 4" (1200 mm) in diameter. A single laser line is projected from the RollCheck MINI transmitter to a reflector mounted on the roll for inspection or alignment. The laser line projected onto reference lines on the reflector instantly indicates if the roll is vertically aligned with the stationary roll. Operators can then see both vertical (field) and horizontal (alignment) angles and precisely adjust the roll into alignment. It can also be used to align and step crowned rolls. The laser line automatically reflects back to the transmitter's reference lines, indicating if rolls are aligned with each other. This system is extremely easy to use; one person can perform the alignment task in just a few minutes without training! The RollCheck MINI comes in a durable, portable case.
