Lot includes COMPAQ BASIC Reference Guide, MS-DOS Reference Guide, & COMPAQ Operations Guide, housed in the original grey felt binders with repeating COMPAQ logo. Operations Guide includes original 5.25 inch floppy disk in the front pocket: COMPAQ Personal Computer MS-DOS Version 1.12 Rev G.
The BASIC guide covers programming syntax and file commands, the MS-DOS guide documents disk formatting, system commands, and memory usage, and the Operations Guide covers setup and day-to-day system operation. The included DOS 1.12 disk represents the earliest era of floppy-only boot systems before hard drives were standard. MS-DOS 1.12 predates widespread hard disk use.
