This model, from the WWII era, is characterized by its highly rugged denim fabric with strong unevenness, the use of general-purpose military donut buttons, iron rivets, and all-yellow stitching. Due to the war situation, material controls on domestic industries in the US were at their most severe. Furthermore, perhaps due to a shortage of skilled workers, the sewing is very rough, and the stitch width is not uniform.
