You might imagine a long-haired woman dressed in somewhat Gothic attire hovering over this steel kettle with a huge wooden spoon, stirring away the next spell formula. Or perhaps you have setup base camp before a castle raid or strategic position and keep this pot over the campfire to simmer. Whatever the cause, you need to have the right cauldron for the scenario. This handmade riveted pot will do the deed! Has a long handle with hump at the top to securely hang it from a hook and stand. Full sized medieval cooking and camping cauldron, similar to what was used by travelers, homesteaders, and even soldiers in Europe during the iron age. It is actually made of steel and iron cast and hand forged, completely made by hand with each piece having its own distinct features. Some simple welds may also be present. You could place this as a decoration piece or over a fire at the Renaissance Festival. We do NOT recommend cooking food for consumption with this pot unless you know how to properly clean (and pre-clean) steel and iron cooking surfaces. There is NO non-stick coatings to worry about scratching, and iron has a tendency to tarnish or rust when exposed to water and water-based foods. NOTE: Pictured stand is not included. For display purposes only.
