This item gained attention through a collaboration with stylist Tsuyoshi Noguchi.

With its inverted yoke, flap pockets, and snap buttons, this western shirt has a strong 70's impression. However, the straight lines of the design and the brass ball chain embroidery on the chest pockets give it a modern feel, and the slim silhouette adds a touch of sexiness and sophistication.
For the standard stretch denim, the warp threads are made from Zimbabwe cotton, carefully hand-picked and grown in the African soil, and rope-dyed.
The weft threads use original stretch core yarn, which has a polyester filament core covered with cotton.

The Zimbabwe cotton, the material used to achieve the texture and color fading of 501xx, is rich in bulkiness, resistant to shape loss, and has a vertical fading effect. Even after washing, it retains its firmness and stretch, creating a non-stressful wearing experience that you wouldn't expect from denim.
The sewing is done by skilled craftsmen in a sewing factory that has handled major overseas brands. Their craftsmanship results in a sharp denim that is distinct from the typical "denim" made in Japan.
