This blouson is based on the aviator jacket, with modern arrangements to the sizing and details.
Using a vintage check as a motif, the check pattern is not too old-fashioned, using 2/48 wool material for both warp and weft.
The fabric is made in Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture, one of Japan's leading wool fabric production areas.
Top yarn is used for the black parts of the pattern, giving a softer and deeper impression.
The finishing process after weaving does not involve tumbler shrinking, resulting in a fluffy texture.
