How to put on a new cheese wire for your Marble Cheese Board. Please take a look at the wire that was connected at one time that came loose or broke. Detach it from the cheese bar. See if it has the knots on each end like the wires on the back that are the extras. If it is missing the knot on either end then look to make sure it is not still stuck in the hole that is on the bar at the bottom. If it is then you can take an end of the wire to pick it out. Start with a new wire if the knots on each end are missing. So you can see how the wire works and that it needs to be connected to both ends. If you set the marble board on the counter or table you lift up the bar as you are looking to the back end for the opening hole. This is where you insert the first end of the wire, then you bring the bar towards you as you are still holding the other end. The knob unscrews and you remove the screw, this is where the other end of the wire goes so you insert the knot into the slot on the screw and slightly turn the screw so the flat side of the screw goes through the bar slot and you take the knob and tighten it on to the screw. As you are in the process of doing this check to make sure that as you are bringing the wire down the way you would slice the cheese it is fitting in the slot properly. The slot where the screw goes up top has room for you to slide the screw back and forth to adjust it. You need to make sure the knob is tightened completely before you use so the wire is nice and tight. Please let me know if this helps you to put the wire on.
