"la Galerie du 19M Tokyo" is an international project that embodies the values of Maison d'art: passion, heritage, and generosity. Visitors can experience a creative dialogue between Métiers d'art and Japanese craftsmanship in the heart of Tokyo, and experience the charm of the fusion of tradition and modernity through workshops.
"le19M," established by Chanel in 2021, is a unique facility that houses approximately 700 artisans and 11 Métiers d'art, and also includes "la Galerie du 19M," an open space that is responsible for the transmission and exhibition of unique savoir-faire (craftsmanship). This Tokyo exhibition is the second international expansion, following the 2023 exhibition in Dakar, and will be on an unprecedented scale.
