Introduced in 1991, the Callicrate SMART Bander has proven its worth, with over 70,000 units sold and millions of bulls successfully ‘Callicrated’. The Callicrate SMART method of humane, bloodless, drug-free delayed castration uses extra-strong Callicrate Loops and a patented no-slip clip that holds the tension for immediate and total blocking of the blood flow for a faster scrotal drop time. Each loop is ratcheted to the precise tightness required, decreasing pain and swelling. The scrotum should drop off in 20 to 45 days. The Callicrate SMART Bander may be used on cattle, goats, and sheep, or other livestock with a scrotum. In addition to castration, the SMART Bander may be used for de-horning and prolapse treatment. Veterinarians find additional uses for the bander in their practices. The SMART Bander can be used on any size bull, including fully mature animals. The kit includes 5 loops and a Callicrate Cutter.
