This vintage T-shirt is from the "Mad Science Lab Racing" series, one of the most highly sought-after lines from OAKLEY.
Made in the USA in the late 90s to early 2000s with single-stitch construction, this rare model is rarely seen in the vintage clothing market.
The front features a powerful NHRA Top Fuel "CANNON" machine print, the familiar Mad Science Lab logo on the back, and an NHRA patch on the left sleeve, along with an estimated autograph of Cory McClenathan, the top driver who led the team at the time.
This series was a limited edition during Oakley's sponsorship of motorsports teams, and it's highly likely that it was not sold commercially, but rather distributed only to team members and event participants, making it an extremely hard-to-find model. There are cases of it being traded overseas for $300-$350, making it a highly desirable piece for collectors.
