OOAK Custom Wellie Wisher doll "Raggedy Ann"

Say hello to Raggedy Ann! She was a previous 2016 Ashlynn doll from American Girl's Wellie Wishers collection. She is a "modernized" version of the Raggedy Ann doll. Having a more "sculpted" body shape makes her look more realistic like a grade-school child, and less floppy and ordinary. I painted under her lower eyelids to give her the "doll-eyes", as they call it in cosmetics. I gave her the traditional red triangle nose, sweetheart lips, and smile lines up to her cheeks. I used paint and artist's choice calligraphy pens. She has a traditional wig of red yarn hair. The wig is not glued on. She wears the Raggedy Ann style outfit, with modern fabric design patterns and colors to better stand out in today's society. She's wearing striped tights, hot-pink felt boots, white bloomers with tiny chic flowers printed all over, a navy-blue cotton dress with little white polka dots, and a pink & white gingham apron. I made the whole attire by myself using a sewing machine.
