The French monthly illustrated publication, 'Les Maîtres de l'affiche', was issued from December 1895 to November 1900. Its full title is 'Les Maîtres de l'affiche: monthly publication featuring reproductions of the finest illustrated posters by renowned French and international artists', published by L'Imprimerie Chaix in Paris. The concept originated from Jules Chéret, then artistic director of Chaix, located at 20 rue Bergère in Paris. Each issue includes four posters reproduced in 29x40 cm format using chromolithography. Each print includes a dry-stamp authentication. This is a very fine specimen with minor defects.
