Product Description From the Manufacturer The Peugeot Fidji 6-inch peppermill brings true fashion to any table. The design features a black-colored hardwood base and a stainless-steel dome that proudly bears the Peugeot mark. The mill's channeling grooves (the larger ones) are designed to line up the peppercorns with the grinding grooves (the smaller ones), and to crack the corns in half before the actual fine grinding process. The grooves are cut individually into the metal, which is then case hardened, making the grinding nut and head as hard as a ball bearing. Peugeot has been making pepper mills since 1842, and is still a leader in the field of mill manufacturing.
