Point de Gaze, Point de Rose

A type of needlepoint lace originating in Belgium.
This is a rare lace from the 19th century.

It takes an enormous amount of time to produce, and is a very delicate lace that was finished by several artisans working together to complete it. The net ground and all the motifs are hand-knitted.

This item is a collar made by an overseas antique lace collector and artist, using Point de Gaze and Point de Rose lace, and is also practical.

Size: Flat measurement, approximately 35 cm in length, approximately 20 cm in width,
Widest part approximately 16 cm, narrowest part approximately 5 cm.
The lovely pink beaded hook on the front is a delicate item, so please open and close it gently. Handle with care. We have not opened or closed it.

※ As this is an antique lace that is over 100 years old, I have personally never seen a lace without any holes or discoloration. I don't think it's wise to have high expectations. However, even taking that into account, I believe it is undoubtedly a very beautiful and rare item.

It is a very old item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item. Also, it has been handled as described above, and has been handled at a level where it has not even been touched with bare hands.
