MADE IN USA Polaris Vision Tap Connectors are designed for connecting between 2 and 10 wires/conductors. The Clear design allows for optimal wire/conductor placement and a more secure connection. The connector provides quick and easy installation while offering outstanding insulation. The connectors are dual-rated for use with Copper and/or Aluminum Class B or C wires between 750 MCM and 14 American Wire Gauge (AWG) and are rated for 600 Volts. Traditional split bolts and other splice and tap connectors can be difficult and time-consuming to install and service. Polaris Vision Tap insulated electrical connectors eliminate the need for extra tools and insulating tape, with only a hex key and torque wrench needed for installation. Polaris Vision Tap’s smooth exterior finish and ergonomic design provide a secure, comfortable grip while applying maximum torque. The insulated product is pre-filled with oxide inhibitor to prevent corrosion and provide a low-contact resistance connection. The Clear insulation provides exceptional UV protection and is abrasion and chemical resistant. The connector comes with removable access plugs that cover unused entry ports and prevent debris from entering the connector. It's not recommended for use with fine-stranded, extra-flexible wire (see Polaris Grey series).
