This hard to find Pre-WW2 Snap-on adaptor is from back in the day when, for a very short time, Snap-on used to sell socket sets with 9/32" drive, not the new age 1/4". So if you collect Pre-WW2 tools and your sockets are 9/32" not 1/4", this adaptor could be what you are missing! This adaptor is an amazing addition to any vintage tool collection! If you have sockets that are a bit loose in your 1/4" drive ratchet, this is what you need! I had this posted for less, then I found out more about it, this is from a pivotal moment in the history of tools! Definitely a "must have"for collectors trying to complete any Pre-WWII vintage socket set!
