The thread gauge ring must screw onto the thread of the work piece manually, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory, following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) for the respective test specimen, using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the workpiece's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and measuring tools are calibrated at 20°C
- Calibration Certificate (on request): VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
