The go/no-go gauge must screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without excessive force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (scrap). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a factory calibration certificate. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Insertion: The Gutlehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without excessive force
- Insertion Failure: If the Gutlehrdorn cannot be inserted, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The reference temperature for the workpieces and gauges is 20°C
- Calibration Certificate: Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a factory calibration certificate. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
