A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra force). If not, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side can screw in up to two turns by hand. More than that, the thread is rejected. The reference temperature for workpieces and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
