The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (i.e., it's defective). A reference temperature of 20° Celsius applies to both workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. The calibration, performed in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, adheres to specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner.
