The Gutlehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for workpieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Insertion Test: The Gutlehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without excessive force
- Insertion Failure Indicator: If the Gutlehrdorn cannot be inserted, the thread does not meet the required standards
- Reference Temperature: The reference temperature for the workpieces and gauges is 20°C
- Calibration Services: VÖLKEL offers on-request workshop calibration certificates. Independent lab calibration follows specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner
