A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The Gut side should manually (without extra force) screw into the cut thread of a workpiece. If not feasible, the thread fails to meet desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can manually (without extra force) screw in up to two turns. Further screwing indicates the thread doesn't meet desired standards. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Calibration, independent of VÖLKEL production, follows set guidelines and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
