A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand (without extra force). If not possible, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). The reject side of the Gewindelehrdorn can screw into the cut thread by hand (without extra force) up to two turns. If it screws in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected). The reference temperature for the workpieces and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL, as the manufacturer, can provide a factory calibration certificate upon request. The calibration is done in an independent measuring lab following the specified guidelines and standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
